With the new MineSight updates, numerous new features and improvements have emerged, whether in performance, interface or functionality. In this Tips & Tricks we will talk about some of the new tools and functionalities that may facilitate the development of daily activities. Such tools were developed in view of the continuous need to improve the software and through requests from MineSight users.
Arc Radius and Distance
This tool was developed so that the creation of arcs, chamfers and circles is done in an intuitive way, allowing the user to work quickly, efficiently and accurately.
A great example of the ease of obtaining multiple geometries is that, based on two axes, it is possible to create arcs or straight line segments just by including or excluding the number of points. In this way the results can be the most varied.
Line of Sight
The new Line of Sight tool was created to allow the user to have a geometric response of the field of view, thus being able to be used in countless ways.
One of the many applications, is to use Line of Sight to get a perspective on the field of view of an equipment operator, so it is possible to correct advances in order to improve safety based on this field of view.
Viewer Properties – Compass
A new tab was inserted in the Viewer Properties menu that allows inserting new coordinate information. Now, in addition to making it easier to orientate yourself, you can choose and customize the orientation object that will be displayed on the MS3D screen.
Data Manager - Materials
Another novelty is that the Materials of geometric objects that are open are always visible. This way, whenever it is necessary to edit the properties of the material, it can be done through Open View, thus eliminating returning to the Materials folder whenever you need to edit it.
