Did you know that the new version of MinePlan, O MinePlan 2022 Release 4, improved the performance of the Activity Scheduler through a change in data storage?
The last update of MinePlan, the MinePlan 2022 Release 4, includes a change to the way data is stored on the Activity Scheduler and not planner. This change will allow users to more efficiently access and store data, which in turn will lead to performance improvements for loading and editing project data.
Hexagon has seen how the Activity Scheduler (MPAS) It is applied in different areas and commodities, where each mine has numerous challenges and unique features. The sequencing solutions developed in the MPAS evolve with users' understanding of MinePlan about its operations. Thus, customers strengthen their modeling capability, which in turn improves the accuracy of their operational plan. This change will allow to increase the complexity of the planning parameters and will provide a high performance, improving the user experience.
The new version includes the tool MPAS / MPPlanner Project Converter, located in the menu Utilities, which allows users to select old projects from the Activity Scheduler (versions prior to Activity Scheduler 6.2) and convert them to the new storage engine. In this step, you can choose to rename your project or add a more detailed description about it.
Also, when creating a new project from the MPAS, users will have a new option to specify the data storage location. This location will store all locally created projects.
