MPSO Mineral Content: Possibility of controlling the product or mineral concentrate in the MinePlan Schedule Optimizer.
Did you know that the MinePlan Schedule Optimizer (MPSO) Do you have a panel that allows you to directly control the target of the product or concentrate?
the panel Mineral Content, located on the tab constraints, allows you to define mineral content restrictions for each destination by entering lower and upper limit values. It is also possible to apply different thresholds to phases, mining areas, and periods.

So the MPSO allows you to directly control the mass and levels needed for the process and, simultaneously, have the result of the product or control of any other material in the production targets.
The calculation of “Mineral Content” is performed according to equation (1):
(1) Mineral Content = Tonnage * Grade * Recovery (%) * Factor
It is necessary to define a recovery value and a conversion factor, adopted for each material and destination. These parameters can be defined in the panel Destination Economics through the columns Recovery (%) and Factor, respectively.
